MAN
The Scripture says, "There is no one righteous, not even one;
... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:10; 23.)
The Scripture also tells us, "For the wages of sin is death,..." (Romans 6:23)
The Bible says, "We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us have turned
to his own way;..." (Isaiah 53:6)
RELIGIONS
The Bible reminds us, "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one
point is guilty of breaking all of it." (James 2:10)
Jesus told His disciples, "Be perfect, therefore, as your Heavenly Father is perfect."
(Matthew 5:48)
The Bible says, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8)
THE GOOD NEWS
The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners,
Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through Me." (John 14:6)
The Bible tells us, "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name,
He gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12)
DID YOU KNOW THAT GOD LOVES YOU?
THE GOOD NEWS:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
GOD'S PURPOSE: He created man to have a personal relationship with Him.
MAN'S PROBLEM: Man is a sinner and he cannot save himself. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23. "The wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23a
GOD'S PLAN: "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 "...but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23b
MAN'S PERSONAL RESPONSE: Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6. The Bible also tells us "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12
If you want to receive the forgiveness of sin and receive the gift of eternal life, here's a suggested prayer:
"Lord Jesus Christ, I know I am a sinner and I cannot save myself. But I believe You died for me on the cross. Lord Jesus, forgive my sins and save me. Come into my life and become my Lord and Savior. I accept the free gift of eternal life. I ask this in your Name, Jesus Christ. Amen."
If you have prayed this prayer of salvation, what's next? You need to grow spiritually by taking the following steps:
1. Read the BIBLE which is God's Word daily. Start with the book of John or Mark.
2. Spend time each day in PRAYER talking with God.
3. Go to WORSHIP regualarly in a church that teaches you the Bible and honors Christ.
4. Have FELLOWSHIP with Christians who will help you to grow in faith.
5. Be a WITNESS by telling others what Jesus means to you.
This is the story of salvation in Christ that the world needs to hear from you...
